6.10.1. Installation of Grep

Prepare Grep for compilation: 

./configure --prefix=/usr   \
            --host=$LFS_TGT \
            --build=$(./build-aux/config.guess)

Compile the package: 

make

Install the package: 

make DESTDIR=$LFS install
