Install GNOME Calculator by running the following commands:
./configure --prefix=/usr --disable-static && make
To test the results, issue: make check. In 32bit systems, Number.float and Number.double tests might fail due to floating point round off errors, most likely in 32 bit systems.
Now, as the root
user:
make install
--disable-static
: This
switch prevents installation of static versions of the libraries.
