Introduction to Adwaita Icon Theme

The Adwaita Icon Theme package contains an icon theme for GTK+ 3 and GTK 4 applications.

Adwaita Icon Theme Dependencies

Required

GTK+-3.24.38 or GTK-4.12.4, and librsvg-2.57.0

Optional

git-2.43.0, Inkscape-1.3.2, and Icon Tools

Installation of Adwaita Icon Theme

Install Adwaita Icon Theme by running the following commands: 

mkdir build &&
cd    build &&

meson setup --prefix=/usr .. &&
ninja

This package does not come with a test suite.

Now, as the root user: 

ninja install
