GNU libtool is a generic library support script. Libtool hides the complexity of using shared libraries behind a consistent, portable interface.
Installed programs: libtool and libtoolize
Installed libraries: libltdl.[a,so].
libtool provides generalized library-building support services.
libtoolize provides a standard way to add libtool support to a package.
libltdl hides the various difficulties of dlopening libraries.
