Installation of gnome-autoar

Install gnome-autoar by running the following commands:

mkdir build &&
cd    build &&

meson setup --prefix=/usr       \
            --buildtype=release \
            -D vapi=true        \
            -D tests=true       \
            ..                  &&
ninja

To test the results, issue: ninja test

Now, as the root user:

ninja install

Command Explanations

--buildtype=release: Specify a buildtype suitable for stable releases of the package, as the default may produce unoptimized binaries.

-D gtk_doc=true: Use this parameter if GTK-Doc is installed and you wish to rebuild and install the API documentation.
