Introduction to libdisplay-info

The libdisplay-info package provides a set of high-level and low-level functions to access detailed Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) information.

Installation of libdisplay-info

Install libdisplay-info by running the following commands: 

mkdir build &&
cd    build &&

meson setup --prefix=/usr --buildtype=release .. &&
ninja

To test the results, run ninja test.

Now, as the root user: 

ninja install

Command Explanations

--buildtype=release: Specify a buildtype suitable for stable releases of the package, as the default may produce unoptimized binaries.
