User Notes: http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/wiki/libnice
Install libnice by running the following commands:
./configure --prefix=/usr \ --disable-static \ --without-gstreamer-0.10 && make
To test the results, issue: make check. Note that two tests, test-io-stream-thread and test-io-stream-pollable, may fail due to test harness timing issues.
Now, as the root
user:
make install
--disable-static
: This
switch prevents installation of static versions of the libraries.
--without-gstreamer-0.10
: This switch
disables building of the GStreamer
0.10 plugins which are not necessary for anything in BLFS. Remove
it if you have installed gst-plugins-base-0.10.36.
--enable-gtk-doc
: Use this parameter if
GTK-Doc is installed and you wish
to rebuild and install the API documentation.
