Talloc provides a hierarchical, reference counted memory pool system with destructors. It is the core memory allocator used in Samba.
This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS-7.10 platform.

Install Talloc by running the following commands:
./configure --prefix=/usr && make
To check the results, issue make check. The python tests fail due to missing files.
Now, as the root
user:
make install
--extra-python=PYTHON
: This switch
enables building selected libraries for the specified additional
version of Python (example: --extra-python=/usr/bin/python3
).
