Libsndfile is a library of C routines for reading and writing files containing sampled audio data.

This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS 11.3 platform.

Installation of libsndfile

Install libsndfile by running the following commands:

./configure --prefix=/usr    \
            --docdir=/usr/share/doc/libsndfile-1.2.0 &&
make

To test the results, issue: make check.

Now, as the root user:

make install
