The xdotool package provides the capabilities to simulate keyboard input and mouse activity, move and resize windows, etc. It does this using X11’s XTEST extension and other Xlib functions.
This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS 13.1 platform.

Install xdotool by running the following commands:
make WITHOUT_RPATH_FIX=1
To run the tests, do:
cd t make all-headless cd ..
Now, as the root user:
make PREFIX=/usr INSTALLMAN=/usr/share/man install
