Err, being just a tad dense, why wouldn't they?.. I don't see many webservers that don't have PHP on them (in fact, I don't know of a mainstream unix os that isn't currently released without php, I certainly don't know of any linux variant that isn't.), even IIS supports php... And I'm guessing none of the lfs mirrors are hosted on a windows box ;) (yes I am aware that the initial build of LFS doesn't include how to build PHP, that said, initial build of LFS doesn't include apache either ;p)
