How about an extension of .tmpl?

Manually rename files in /home/cvsroot/www -- not the most recommended
way of doing things but you get to keep revision history that way.

Just make sure to whatever you rename a file, it needs to have a ,v at
the end like news-2003.html,v (that comma-v not dot-v).

While you move and experiment, make a temporary update-website.sh script
that stores the files elsewhere
(/home/jeroen/public_html/www.linuxfromscratch.org would be an option
for example) so you can diff them and make sure things work properly.
