Hi !
I am a Ubuntu user with notebook~
I have read a mail about boot LFS livecd from hard disk. I have followed
it like this :

## ## End Default Options ##

title Ubuntu 7.10, kernel 2.6.22-14-generic
root (hd0,0)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.22-14-generic
root=UUID=7965b03d-fcdc-44b4-8d08-5101cbc8535f ro quiet splash
initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.22-14-generic
quiet

title Ubuntu 7.10, kernel 2.6.22-14-generic (recovery mode)
root (hd0,0)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.22-14-generic
root=UUID=7965b03d-fcdc-44b4-8d08-5101cbc8535f ro single
initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.22-14-generic

title Ubuntu 7.10, memtest86+
root (hd0,0)
kernel /boot/memtest86+.bin
quiet

title LFS 6.3 LiveCD
kernel /boot/lfs/linux64
root=iso:/dev/sda4:/home/niufox/Iso/lfslivecd-x86_64-6.3-r2145.iso rw
initrd /boot/lfs/initramfs_data64.cpio.gz

But I have found I can't boot my LFS livecd by Grub and it giving a
message "unrecognised string device". Why~
