6.1.1-2 doesn't work for old-school compys

Old-school machines
 1) That 6.1.1-2 doesn't work
 2) The modified 6.1.1-2 doesn't work either
 3) last few lines (running back and forth from room to livingroom => maybe
not entirely exact messages)

Notes:
My machine:
  AMD K6 processor
I tried booting it with:
boot:
boot: pci=noacpi
boot: noapic pci=noacpi
Each one seemed to produce the same results
