Summary: su command should be configurable
           Product: Live CD
           Version: x86-6.1-1
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: CD
        AssignedTo: livecd at linuxfromscratch.org
        ReportedBy: mjhammel at graphics-muse.org
         QAContact: livecd at linuxfromscratch.org

Running parts of the build via the LFS user is done as

  su - lfs

but on my systems that "-" causes the su to login as the lfs user and not
actually run the commands. So

  su lfs

works correctly. If the "-" works for other users, I suggest making this
command configurable, such as

SULFS = su - lfs

and then reference it as $(SULFS) in the Makefile. This is how I did it with my
own MythBox builds.
