[links] Links Javascript support

I have been trying to check the javascript functionalities with
respect to the versions 1.4, 1.5 of the spidermonkey. Now can we not
make javascript as a module to the browser. Advantages will be we can
get updated versions of js and implementations will be standard.
What are the implications of this......

Can anyone tell me whether its worth trying.....
