cannot open root device hda3

Thank you sir for the input...however:

root (hd0,0) says file not found, so im assuming you mean (hd0,2)
i changed fstab and menu.lst but still have the same issue.

If this was a kernel issue with hda having to be sda, would that not
have been in the 6.4 docs?
