Hi, every one,

I searched the previous posts in the mailing list with "gcc bootstrap
error" search keys before sending this message. WWW google search
didn't help neither.

I tried to compile and bootstrap GCC 4.1.2 like written in the 6.3 stable book.

First I got this final output before quiting:

/tools/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/bin/ld: skipping incompatible
/usr/lib/../lib/libc.so when searching for -lc
 /tools/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/bin/ld: skipping incompatible
/usr/lib/../lib/libc.a when searching for -lc
 /tools/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/bin/ld: skipping incompatible
/usr/lib/libc.so when searching for -lc
/tools/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/bin/ld: skipping incompatible
 /usr/lib/libc.a when searching for -lc
/tools/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/bin/ld: cannot find -lc

make[1]: *** [stage1_build] Error 2
 make[1]: Leaving directory `/mnt/LFS/sources/gcc-build/gcc'

Then I searched the mailing list. Someone already had reported this
error. The proposed solution would be to
re-compile after cleaning the gcc-build/ directory with the
--disable-shared option instead of the --enable-shared.
I give it a try but now I have this output before quiting:

I checked every step in the book twice, everything seems to be ok.

Can someone help me, please?
