Remotely building LFS

Yes, I've done it a gazillion times.

I chroot remotely with no issues.

Don't know. Why would one want to use the LiveCD if they are
building remotely? I understand that a Linux partition may not
be available on the host, so the LiveCD may be the only way in
that case. But to simply mount the LiveCD you'd need physical
access, why not just build it locally, since you already need
physical access.

Perhaps I'm not understanding the question properly.


Hi Randy, I want to build it using my laptop from my living room 
while I look after my infant daughter. I have cygwin on the laptop
 and it means I don't have to stay upstairs the study! I'm currently
 building it but I'm finding it difficult to get the time to sit in the 
study and work on it.
