Section Screen has to have a line with modes, for instance:
...
Depth           24
Modes          "2048x1536" "1920x1440" "1600x1200" "1280x1024"  "1024x768" "800x600"  "640x480"
...

And section monitor might benefit from a modeline, like so:
Modeline        "1920x1440"   281.50   1920 1947 2047 2448   1440 1441 1444 1483 -hsync +vsync


Please do not cut and paste these two ;-) Consult xorg.conf(1),
and I think there's even some tool to let you determine
modelines but I forget which one.
