A little snippet that does the trick for Ch5:

echo "=> Test for correct toolchain readjustment"
programinterpreter=$(readelf -l a.out | grep ': /tools')
echo "=> \${programinterpreter}="${programinterpreter}
if echo "${programinterpreter}" | grep -q "[Requesting program interpreter:
/tools/lib/ld-linux.so.2]" ; then
        echo "=> ${programinterpreter} - FOUND"
        echo "=> ${programinterpreter} - NOT FOUND - ERROR!"
        exit 1

(NOTE: The if ... then is one line, so watch for line wrapping with C&P)
