Still problems with gcc pass 2 (LFS 6.0)

Hi there,

a few days ago there was a question concerning a problem building gcc in the
second pass on a AMD64 machine. The hint was to symlink the /tools/lib64
directory to /tools/lib. Now the compilation of gcc pass 2 (typing "make",
"configure" works fine) goes a little bit further but stops with:
[...]
checking for msgfmt... yes
checking libintl.h usability... yes
checking libintl.h presence... yes
checking for libintl.h... yes
checking for library containing gettext... configure: error: Link tests are
notallowed after GCC_NO_EXECUTABLES.
make: *** [configure-target-libstdc++-v3] Error 1

the config.log has no error-entries

My host os is fedore core 3 on an amd 64 system

I'm using LFS 6.0 and the only modification to the book was adjusting the
specfile to ld-linux-x86-64.so.2.

Any hints?

Greetings

Klaus
