Building mod_perl under nALFS

I wonder if anyone has tried building mod_perl under nALFS? I'm trying to
use 2.0.0-RC2-XMas which fails during "make test", with this output in
the log at the end:

-: [Sun Jan 02 22:44:36 2005] [info] 0 APR:: modules loaded
-: [Sun Jan 02 22:44:36 2005] [info] base server + 27 vhosts ready to run
-: [Sun Jan 02 22:44:36 2005] [error] Insecure directory in $ENV{PATH}
while running with -T switch at
/usr/src/mod_perl-2.0.0-RC2-XMas/Apache-Test/lib/Apache/ line
1062.\nCompilation failed in require at
/usr/src/mod_perl-2.0.0-RC2-XMas/t/conf/ line
17.\n\t...propagated at
/usr/src/mod_perl-2.0.0-RC2-XMas/t/conf/ line 18.\nBEGIN
failed--compilation aborted at
/usr/src/mod_perl-2.0.0-RC2-XMas/t/conf/ line
20.\nCompilation failed in require at (eval 2) line 1.\n
-: [Sun Jan 02 22:44:36 2005] [error] Can't load Perl file:
/usr/src/mod_perl-2.0.0-RC2-XMas/t/conf/ for server
localhost:8529, exiting...
-: [  error]
-: server has died with status 255 (t/logs/error_log wasn't created, start
the server in the debug mode)
-: sh: line 1: 16235 Terminated              /usr/bin/perl
/usr/src/mod_perl-2.0.0-RC2-XMas/t/TEST -bugreport -verbose=0
-: make: *** [run_tests] Error 143

However building mod_perl 2.0.0-RC2-XMas outside nALFS but still inside
the LFS chroot works fine.

I also tried mod_perl 1.99_16 and that works ok under nALFS. Any ideas
what might be wrong?
