could it be, that you have interrupted your build process in
between ? If so, perhaps you have probably forgotten to mount your
LFS partition ...

For this statement I am assuming, that you have interrupted your
build different times, one time without remounting your LFS
partition, the other time with mounting it ... Maybe I am wrong
here, but I seem to remember, that it was some times in the archive
mentioned ... ;)

Difficult to say ... Depends on different things like if you have
forgotten to remount your part. or not.

I think you should find out if you have just forgotten to remount
and, if so, which packages were installed at this point ...
