glibc-2.3.3-lfs-5.1 make check errors

When running make check after compiling glibc in
chapter 6, I get the following four errors:

I understand from searching the mailing list archives
that the first two errors are normal on the AMD K6-2
CPU that I'm using but I couldn't find anything on the
other two.  My host system is Slackware 10.0 with
kernel version 2.4.26

Any help on what might be wrong?  TIA!
