hello,

While i whas busy with a kernel upgrade from 2.4 to 2.6.4 everything
went smooth untill the point grub has to locate the file and load the
kernel.

I tried a few things, i even tossed away my kernel dir ( 2.6.4 one ) and
rebuild it using the hint in the LFS site.
url:
http://linuxfromscratch.rave.org/hints/downloads/files/kernel-2_6-migration.txt

everything went ok in there, even updated the procps cause the version
whas little behind.

But for some wierd reason grub doesn't want to find the d*mn kernel..

any one got ideas ?

i using LFS 5.1 pre 1 , partition is ext2

my grub file:

#gin /boot/grub/menu.lst

# By default boot the first menu entry.
default 1

# Allow 30 seconds before booting the default.
timeout 30

# Use prettier colors.
color blue/green light-green/black

# The first entry is for LFS.
title LFS 5.1
root (hd0,4)
kernel --no-mem-option (hd0,4)/boot/lfskernel

title Windows 2000 Pro
