Yes, that is the problem!

This is my bash_profile

set +h
umask 022
LFS=/lfs
LC_ALL=POSIX
PATH=/tools/bin:$PATH
export LFS LC_ALL PATH
unset CC CXX CPP LD_LIBRARY_PATH LD_PRELOAD

I have discovered, using "which gcc" and then "echo $PATH" that PATH is not
correct, does'nt include /tools/bin.
I don't know why, but, after login "su - lfs" , manually launch
PATH=/tools/bin:$PATH and export LFS and now it works.
Perhaps is due to the fact that .bash_rc is located in /home/lfs, but my
working directory is /lfs?
This is my passwd file 
Lfs:x:500:500::/lfs:/bin/bash
