[LFS 5.1.1] can't read /tools/lib/gcc-lib/*/*/specs

Let me begin by saying I'm not an LFS guru.
I did just complete build LFS from a fully patch RH9 host.
So have faith.

Your on page 37 of the PDF, the files you are looking for should have
been installed on page 31 ("GCC-3.3.3 Pass 1).
I checked the backups of my tools tree, and they are there.
Step back to page 31, and continue again.

The actual file name is
"/tools/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.3/specs".
They only do the "*" thing because they don't know your target.
