i'm wrong, the kernel read the initrd, the error message is:

RAMDISK: ext2 filesystem found on.......
RAMDISK: loading 4000.......... done
VFS: mounted root (ext2 filesystem)
VFS: cannot open root device "hda1" or unknow-block(0,0)
please append a correct "root="...........
kernel panic

The fs on hda1 is reiserfs, the support is compiled in the kernel, the fs
for initrd is ext2
