Ok everything is done and it boots ok but I get a kernel panic invalid
root= fix root = and try again (I am paraphrasing).

I have three SCSI drives.

Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda3 44093908 11522144 30331904 28% /
/dev/sda1 101089 36672 59198 39% /boot
/dev/sdc1 4372108 2408768 1741244 59% /movies
/dev/sdb1 4127076 2419624 1497808 62% /mnt/lfs
none 256612 0 256612 0% /dev/shm

When I did the GRUB I did:

grub> root (hd
 Possible disks are: hd0 hd1 hd2

grub> root (hd1,0)
Filesystem type is ext2fs, partition type 0x83

grub> setup (hd1,0)
 Checking if "/boot/grub/stage1" exists... yes
 Checking if "/boot/grub/stage2" exists... yes
 Checking if "/boot/grub/e2fs_stage1_5" exists... no
 Running "install /boot/grub/stage1 (hd1,0) /boot/grub/stage2 p
/boot/grub/menu.lst "... succeeded
Done.

grub>

and my $LFS/etc/fstab looks like:

/dev/sdb1 / ext3 defaults 1 1
none /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
none /proc proc defaults 0 0
none /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
/dev/sda2 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom udf,iso9660
noauto,owner,kudzu,ro 0 0
/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto
noauto,owner,kudzu 0 0

Any ideas what the problem is? Thanks all!

Andre
