Hello all,

What could be this s-attrtab error 137 from the compilation of gcc 3.2 ?
I've seen it mentioned in the mailing list archives, but nothing much was
said about it. A Google search did not turn much either.

The system is one of those mini-ITX. It is booted from a (lfs) CDROM which
contains the tools and the packages to build the target. I'd like very much
to use this system with the gcc 3.2 compiler. The very last resort would be
to step down to 2.95. Could the amount of RAM cause the problem ?

CPU:
model name	: VIA Samuel 2
cpu MHz : 531.833

RAM:

DISK SPACE WHEN ERROR HAPPENS:
/dev/hda1 4.7G 1.2G 3.2G 27% /mnt/disk

BUILD ENVIRONMENT:
Linux kernel 2.4.23
gcc 3.2
libc 2.2.5
No CPU or ARCH flags are set.

ERROR Captured with:
make BOOT_LDFLAGS=-static bootstrap 2>&1 | tee make.log
(There is no error message before the line containing "Error 137".
What you see below are the last two compiler commands, plus the last lines
that follows. I've added a blank line between the compiler commands).

gcc -c -DIN_GCC -g -W -Wall -Wwrite-strings -Wstrict-prototypes

  Any insight would be appreciated.
