Hi, while compiling gcc in the chroot environment i get the following error:

-: xgcc: cannot specify -o with -c or -S and multiple compilations
-: make[4]: *** [del_op.lo] Error 1
-: make[4]: Leaving directory
`/static/usr/src/gcc-build/i486-pc-linux-gnu/libstdc++-v3/libsupc++'
-: make[3]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
-: make[3]: Leaving directory
`/static/usr/src/gcc-build/i486-pc-linux-gnu/libstdc++-v3'
-: make[2]: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
-: make[2]: Leaving directory
`/static/usr/src/gcc-build/i486-pc-linux-gnu/libstdc++-v3'
-: make[1]: *** [all-target-libstdc++-v3] Error 2
-: make[1]: Leaving directory `/static/usr/src/gcc-build'
-: make: *** [bootstrap] Error 2

Because i want to use my LFS on an older machine i have to crosscompile and
followed the crosscompiling hint.

My configure command:
../gcc-3.2/configure --host=i486-pc-linux-gnu \
--target=i486-pc-linux-gnu --prefix=/usr --enable-shared \
--enable-languages=c,c++ --enable-threads=posix \
--with-slibdir=/lib --enable-__cxa_atexit --enable-clocale=gnu

My CFLAGS/CXXFLAGS:
-O2 -march=i486

My hardware:
CPU: AMD Athlon XP 1800+
Motherboard: ABIT KR7A-133R
RAM: 512MB Infineon

Thx for your help
Sebastian
