segfault after compiling glibc-2.3.1 (last step of chapter 6)

hum...it is ok with that but now I keep having "I have no name" prompt! :-(
Yesterday I remember that I succeed in getting rid of this by compiling
glibc (first step in Ch 6).
What is wrong now?
