Exit the chroot and do the following:
for i in $(find $LFS/static -type f 2>/dev/null)
SHARED=`file $i 2>/dev/null | grep shared`
if [ ! -z "$SHARED" ]
echo "ERROR: file $i is not linked statically"
For every file that is reported as not being statically linked,
recompile the corresponding package.
