GCC install cant find compiler

Well, if you entered

    export CC='gcc -s'

and nothing happened, that is good. It means that if you now type

    echo $CC

it should show you something familiar.

And if you type

    export

and look at all those things, you should see the setting of CC in there.

Of course, maybe you would rather type

   env

or

   prtenv

or....


Well, the list goes on. Regardless, if you now run the make commands that
gave you problems, it should pick up the value of it internal CC
definition from the variable $CC in your environment.
