compiling error on gcc-3.2

I've been trying to install a linux system with LFS
but i'm getting compile error with gcc at Chapter 6

I've followed latest instructions on the cvs but

Let me know should i do

Created "Makefile" in /usr/src/gcc-build using
"mh-frag" and "mt-frag"
cannot open crt1.o: No such file or directory
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

*** You must set the environment variable CC to a
working compiler.
