error when executing mrproper in lfs-linux

I had the same problem. First you have to find out if find and xargs
are statically linked. From your host system go to the directory they are
placed in and type something like
        file | grep dynamic
this will give you the list of dymamically linked files in current
directory if there any.
   If find and xargs are in the list even after reinstalling
findutils, then you got the same problem as I did. So, I'll be able
to help.
