Can I use the FreeBSD to make my LFS?

I do have a 'mini-install' of 4.5-RELEASE that I can try using with
Linux emulation. I was looking for more of a very small linux distro
that would enable me to boot from cd possibly, then begin from there. I
tried using tomsrtbt, but only one problem from the getgo - no
"useradd".

Why do you think that, out of interest ?

Antony.

There are two possible outcomes.

If the result confirms the hypothesis, then you've made a measurement.
If the result is contrary to the hypothesis, then you've made a
discovery.
