Hallo to everybody...
I have installed my LFS 3.2 ( yuppieee), but i'm having some problems with alsa sound...
Audio works fine but not with alsa drivers: when i try to run "/etc/init.d/alsasound start" it returns :
Starting sound driver: snd-card-via686 /lib/modules/2.4.17/kernel/driver/sound/snd-card-via686.o: init_module: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters
/lib/modules/2.4.17/kernel/driver/sound/snd-card-via686.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.17/kernel/driver/sound/snd-card-via686.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.17/kernel/driver/sound/snd-card-via686.o: insmod snd-card-via686 failed
I my /lib/....../sound i had snd-via686.o and i made a simlink called snd-card-via686.o i thought it should have worked but...
do you have some tricks for me? thank you all
