GCC 3 success story

Forget kdf, it's a minor insignificant in the general order of kde things.  
Tell me about arts.  Did it compile?  I've heard kde coders saying the arts 
server couldn't be compiled with gcc3.x and that prevented them from using 
the 3.x series to compile cvs.
