maybe, maybe, but then the error should have been command not found, not 
incorrect permissions, this is a strange one. id get the 2.2.5 source and 
threads frmo the hoem page and try again... sorry if this is bad news if you 
are on 56K connection :(

execv is a perl script isnt it? coudl be a perl permissins thing, or am i 
wrong?
