How find out dependences for a software?

Hello,
        you can do ldd <executable> 

ie:ldd /usr/bin/procinfo 
        libtermcap.so.2 => /lib/libtermcap.so.2 (0x40020000)
        libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x40024000)
        /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000)
