I'm jst trying to compile LFS-3.0 and got stuck in Ch 06
checking for a BSD compatible install... /bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... configure: error: ls
-t appears to
fail. Make sure there is not a broken
alias in your environment
configure: error: newly created file is older than distributed
Check your system clock
Trying to run /bin/ls gives Segmentation fault, from outside
/mnt/lfs/bin/ls is working.
ls is dynamically linked.
The other commands from fileutils work, except shred.
Differences to the book:
Kernel is 2.4.10, i omited installing locales from glibc, omitted
ed + gettext and configure everything (where possible) with
System is Athlon 1GHz, 512 MB RAM.
