I am trying to build a lfs system using the new RedHat 7.2. Everything
worked up until gcc, when I keep getting the following errors from make:

urce.o hash.o c-parse.o c-lang.o c-lex.o c-pragma.o c-decl.o c-typeck.o
c-convert.o c-aux-info.o c-common.o c-iterate.o obstack.o
../libiberty/libiberty.a
insn-recog.o: In function `recog_7':
/mnt/lfs/usr/src/3.0/gcc-build/gcc/insn-recog.c:8601: undefined reference
to `recog_61440'
insn-recog.o: In function `recog':
/mnt/lfs/usr/src/3.0/gcc-build/gcc/insn-recog.c:9827: undefined reference
to `recog_61440'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

make[1]: *** [bootstrap] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/mnt/lfs/usr/src/3.0/gcc-build/gcc'
make: *** [bootstrap] Error 2

I noticed that I had very little free memory after this:

total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 126272 112144 14128 0 5308 86908
-/+ buffers/cache: 19928 106344
Swap: 257032 0 257032

This makes me think that either there is a hardware problem (it's an old
Pentium-200, and the RedHat installer crashed on me twice) or possibly
some other earlier compilition failed (libiberty or a configured header or
something). Has anyone else seen this sort of behaviour? Is there a way to
recompile just libibery.a without redoing the whole build up to this
point?

Thanks
