Hey,

Init is killed by the bootingprocess at a point where it needs a file or dir
named 'auto'.

VFS: mounted root (ext2) ok
Freeing unused kernelmemory ok
auto: auto: No such file or dir
Kernel panic : Attempted to kill init
-
this is where it seeems to hang (again)

I've been searching that auto and probably it 's a directory in
usr/lib/perl5/
Am I right, and what can be the reason not finding it

Looking for clues

Rudy
