LFS on an UltraSPARC (GLIBC woes)

I think I am going to try recompiling everything with a --host=sparc-linux configure option to 
enforce a 32bit userland.  I get the sense that it may be a supplementary program that is
creating an incompatibility.

I will post if I am successful.
