In another reply, Nico R. points out that '.' (dot) is in POSIX.1 and I
guess 'source' is probably not. Furthermore, Nico R. gives an example of a
shell -- dash -- which does not support 'source'.
If 'source' really is a non-standard extension, then this solely should make
it less perferrable to '.'
