When I issue the command "make install" in the section
Glibc-2.3.3-lfs-5.1, I get the following:
LANGUAGE=C LC_ALL=C; export LANGUAGE LC_ALL; \
make -r PARALLELMFLAGS="" CVSOPTS="" -C ../glibc-2.3.3-lfs-5.1
make: Entering directory `/mnt/lfs/sources/glibc-2.3.3-lfs-5.1'
autoconf sysdeps/i386/elf/configure.in >
autoconf: Undefined macros:
***BUG in Autoconf--please report*** AC_FD_MSG
make: *** [sysdeps/i386/elf/configure] Error 1
make: Leaving directory `/mnt/lfs/sources/glibc-2.3.3-lfs-5.1'
make: *** [install] Error 2
I repeated the whole procedure two times, following the instructions
of the book.
After that, I tried "make AUTOCONF=no install", and this seems
I would ask someone, who understands this better than me,
if it is OK?
My host system is Debian 3.0.
(I think I should provide more information about that, but
I do not know actually what.)
