gcc: ./../intl/libintl.a: No such file or directory

I don't know what it could be. You shouldn't need libintl.a with Glibc, it's 
already built into Glibc. Try removing and unpacking the sources again. Also 
double check you're linking to /tools/lib.

The quickest work-around is --disable-nls for the toolchain.
