Given how widely I use it, that would surprise me.

I've created a network installer initrd at work. My network installs
are running in cpio.bz2 packages, and I ended up having to replace
both busybox's bzip2 and its cpio, each broke on some cpio.bz2 files
that the standalone tools worked fine with.
